I noticed that the light oil finish seemed to scuff up a lot. However, that feature also makes the seat feel very secure, so I might have looked past that if it were a better fit for my horse. I had a couple people comment that it looked more like a barrel saddle than a trail saddle.
Aesthetically, the high front made it look a little odd. I felt life it got in the way of my hands. The only thing I did not like from a riding standpoint was the really high swell and horn. The high cantle makes the perfect pocket seat. Incredibly comfortable, and puts your leg in a good position.
When I first sat in it I thought the twist might be too wide to be comfortable, but after the two long rides I felt like I could easily go another 4 hours.
